WHAT DO WE SELL? We do not just sell diamonds, we offer a wide variety of products within the jewelry industry. We like to explain that we sell everything from a simple pendant to a Rolex watch. However, we do specialize in Diamonds and we import diamonds from Israel, Belgium, and India. The bulk of our goods come from Israel and India. Experience has shown us that the cut of the diamond, is better from these markets, however, we do deal with the Belgium market for those who are not as concerned with the cut. We offer a complete line of jewelers tools and equipment and offer full service for the jeweler as well as the public. If you are interested in selling diamonds we can teach you how to get started, what to do and not do. We will help you create a custom piece of jewelry from your ideas or you can pick from the thousands upon thousands of rings, wedding or engagement, dinner rings, remounting, earrings, gold chain that we make available to you. In addition to our showroom, we also have over five hundred catalogs where we can generally find any ring you may have seen anywhere in the last twenty years or more. We offer a full service brokerage business. If you have an old ring or diamond that you might want to dispose of, think again, we might be able to help you make it into a vibrant new piece of jewelry. We are also one of the few places that will be happy to pay a fair value for any old diamonds you may have, even if the diamond or jewelry is broken or in bad shape. We have one of the best diamond cutters in our estimation, available to recut or reshape your diamonds.

WHAT DO WE DO? We offer to you a full service jewelry buying experience that is unparalleled to anything of its kind. We take pride in that what we do is different: night and day different. Try us, to experience a refreshing new way to buy a diamond. One of the many things that we do different is to give you an education about how to buy a diamond. Not an education like most stores do, but we actually teach customers how to grade a diamond themselves. It is very important as you will soon find out. It is not rocket science, and it is not hard at all to learn what kind of diamond you may be buying. Why trust anyone else? Let us teach you so that you will have the knowledge to make an educated decision when buying your diamond. We do not utilize any high pressure tactics. Instead we educate you, and then tell you to go out and shop. It has been amazing over the years that ninety to ninety-five percent of the people we educate, come back and buy from us. We have always said that we will compete on the world wide market place regardless of where you are shopping. We have even had people fly off to New York and yes, even Belgium, only to come back and tell us they could get a better buy from us. We will not be undersold by any retail jewelry store. If someone is trying to tell you they are selling to you at a wholesale price, they should not be ashamed to show you the wholesale diamond price index. This is how you know you are getting a wholesale price. Let us show you the "blue book," the bible the jewelers use, to assure that you are getting a wholesale price. We don't just use words, we back it up with proof. We are very good at what we do and would like a chance to prove it to you.

I am confused, everyone seems to claim to have the best price and best product. How can I know that I am getting the best price and best product when I go to buy a diamond?

This is one place that we really shine. First like in buying anything, you need to learn about the product you are buying, so that you can make an informed decision.

We at Diamond Dream will give you an education on buying a diamond that is unparalleled to anything we have seen in our twenty plus years of doing business. We will do this at no charge. It generally takes approximately 30-45 minutes of your time. If you cannot pick up a diamond and grade it, you do not know enough about diamonds to be investing your money in diamonds. Let us show you how simple it really is. The majority of people rush into a diamond purchase without enough education. We will educate you for free. This is why we operate by appointment only. We want to give you our undivided attention so you can make an informed diamond/jewelry purchase.

Something else that causes confusion is that you are dealing in an emotionally charged atmosphere. People sometimes do not use common sense when they have stars in their eyes. Don't fall for the high pressure lines that many salesmen have used over the years such as; "Don't you love her/him enough to buy this?" or "this is the last one we have in stock and if you don't get it today we cannot guarantee you will ever be able to get this good of a buy again." Even, "look at the way that ring lights up her/his face, how can you put a price tag on that! You're only going to make this purchase once in your life, aren't you?" Know what you are doing first!

Why can you save me so much money compared to what I find at my favorite jewelry store downtown or in the mall?

The answer is simple. We are a wholesaler, the jewelers you refer to above are retailers. We are in a different end of the business. One thing that will be very apparent to you when you first call, is that we are very different in the way we operate compared to the conventional jeweler. We are full service and can do anything that you will find from a conventional jeweler plus much, much more. In the conventional jewelry store you are not just paying for the jewelry that you buy, you are also paying for the fancy storefront, carpeting, lighting and salesmen standing around. These items are all added into the cost of doing business equaling the amount of profit they have to charge, just to break even.

I cannot find your address. I have seen your ads in numerous places, but I never see an address. Why is this?

We operate by appointment only. Let me explain, then I will give you our address. We are not a typical walk-in jewelry store operation. We are set up to only deal with a couple of customers at a time, so that we can give you our full and undivided attention when you are purchasing something as important as exquisite jewelry. We do not publish our address so that you might call us first. Then we can visit with you and explain the above.

With that said, here is our current business address. We are located at 825 Great Northern Blvd., Suite 204, Great Northern Town Center, Helena, Montana, 59601. Call first, it is for your convenience that we ask this of you. We are always available by telephone during business hours even if we are not at the office. When we are out on deliveries the phone follows us around via cell phone. You can always get us by phone.

What are your store hours?

We generally work by appointment, see preceding question. However, our hours are 10 A.M. to 6 P.M., Monday through Saturday. This does not mean that we are always at our business location between these hours; however, it does mean that you will be able to reach us at our phone number between these hours. THE HISTORY
Diamond Dream Wholesale and Supply began in Helena, Montana in 1984. We soon found that it was hard to run a wholesale Diamond and Jewelry Business in Montana. In late 1985 we teamed up with a gentleman, by the name of Al Grosjean, out of Provo, Utah who took us under his wing, or so to speak, and taught us the business. We moved to Utah in early 1986 and trained under Mr. Grosjean. Our first public location opened in downtown Ogden in early 1987. After that, the business grew quickly, a second location was opened in downtown Salt Lake City, two years later. In 1992 we opened our third location in Spokane, Washington. We closed the business on a temporary basis in 1998, and moved back to Montana so that my wife and I could raise our children in Montana and be closer to family.

Today we find the world has become a smaller place because of the Internet and overnight air services. We are now proving that it is possible to make a diamond brokerage/jewelry business work well in Helena, Montana. In late 2004, we reopened the business in downtown Helena, Montana. Things are going great and we are proud to be back in business in Montana where it all started.
